Weakness: What's with not working in windows 2000?

I bought this about two months ago and it would not load the burning software on 2000. 2000 saw it and recognized it as a CD-Rom but I didn't want just a CD-Rom, I wanted a burner. I eventually loaded a dual o/s (2000 and 98) to compensate for this problem. Strengths: Fast, easy, quiet

This is a nice drive! Very easy to install and use. I have seen reviews about it being noisy, but mine has just the normal whir that is expected. This is the third and, by far, the fastest and easiest drive that I have used. It reads just seconds slower than my 56x drive, and it burns almost as fast! Strengths: It's the fastest burner I've ever seen

Weakness: Nothing is bad. Even no buffer underrun!

It's an amazing burner. AS soon as you get to work with it you realize how fast our industry is going and how fast your CD is writing or even re-writing. I used to have a 20X before and now I experience 100s of times faster burning.

I got it at Costco for $139 with $50 rebate so it was a great buy. I had no 32x media so I used my 24x cds and have been burning them with no problems whatsoever. It replaced my plextor 12x/8x/32x and so far I love this drive, definitevly an excellent buy.

Strengths: Works OK with the included Nero Burning Rom program. Nice Looks

Weakness: Terrible at ripping songs from CD's. The included InCD packet writing software does not work well under Windows 2000 Pro or with Windows XP Pro.

Since installing this drive I have had nothing but problems with it. As a matter of fact I'm about to return it today. I think I'll go back to my Cendyne 24/40/10 drive. The Cendyne is not very fancy looking but at least it works. If you are running any version of Windows other 98 this is not the drive for you.

Strengths: Burns CD in 4 minutes.

Weakness: I havent had a cd burned in 3 1/2 minutes yet. I used a TDK 32x CDR and it burned a 575mb CD in 4 minutes (this includes total time AFTER the burner STOPS).

The INCD program can be a pain in the butt when it comes to formatting. So i recommend using the Nero for CDRW. -Anyone use Audio Catalyst? If so, what settings do you use to RIP tracks at 40x? I can only RIP 30x with my TDK. Please email me: DYAV21@yaho.com

Strengths: Burns 24X Media at 32X Speeds without a problem. Burns so Fast, Its not even Funny! Sweet Burner, TDK is da BOMB! Pretty Blue CD-ROM Door.

Weakness: None so far!

I got this the other day. This is SO Easy to use. The Nero burner software is alright, But I prefer the TDK Digital MixMaster. I can't believe I can burn 24X Media at 32X Speeds! Go out & Buy one NOW. This was a GREAT replacement for my Plextor 12/10/32 burner, which also created skips! Thanks Again TDK!
